Full 2018 report: €28B invested in European & Israeli startups

With investment of €28 billion, 2018 was a record year for European venture capital (or €21 billion, when excluding biotech and Europe). It was a record year for VC-backed exits in Europe and Israel. The growth of VC-backed exits in 2018 was driven by large IPOs (Spotift, Adyen, Farfetch etc) and acquisitions (Yoox Net-a-Porter, Zoopla, iZettle etc).
