Dealroom’s matching tool helps founders research potential investors directly on the platform. It uses your company’s industry, location and next desired funding round, to match it with relevant investors. The matches are shown ordered by relevance and can be saved into private or public lists.
Below is a quick guide on how to use the matching tool in 4 simple steps.
Step 1: Start by typing your company name (e.g. “Etergo“)
Step 2: Narrow down target investors by selecting preferred funding round and investor type (e.g. “Series A” and “Investment fund”)
Step 3: Add the desired funding amount (e.g. “€5 million”)
The funding amount helps the tool match the company with investors which typically invest within a range that includes your desired amount. This information is never saved by Dealroom.co.
Step 4: Save target investors to a private list by clicking the “heart” icon. Private lists can easily be shared among users on the platform or made public.
While the Matching tool can provide users and especially founders with useful insights into their next investor, its results are only as good as its inputs. To have the best results, make sure that your company information is accurate by claiming and editing your profile. If your company is missing, you can easily add it by typing the name in the search bar and clicking on “Add it now”.
